Report: Kyle Kuzma SUV stolen, Destroyed During High-Speed Police Chase in Hollywood

The Los Angeles Lakers traded Kyle Kuzma to the Washington Wizards and now his SUV was stolen. Does it get any worse than this?

One thing stands for sure. Kuzma had to deal with so many problems in the last few days. The young NBA player had great plans for his performance and things took a completely different turn overnight.

According to initial reports, the suspect stole Kuzma’s SUV Sunday morning. There was a high-speed chase and the vehicle hit a police car. The police officer had to go to a hospital and the medical staff treated his injuries.

“Kuzma’s SUV was stolen … and then taken on a joy ride that led to a high-speed chase, and an eventual crash,” TMZ reported.

“Law enforcement sources tell us … Kuzma’s Chevy Tahoe SUV was stolen somewhere in Hollywood and eventually became involved in a police pursuit around 1:30 AM early Sunday morning. The chase ended with the suspect hitting a cop car, and sending an officer to the hospital with minor injuries.”

The good news? The police caught the suspect and he will spend a lot of time in jail. I mean, one of the officers sustained injuries. The suspect has to bear the consequences of his actions.

Kyle Kuzma has bigger concerns than the SUV that was stolen

It’s been a rough few days for the former Laker. He will have to get a new vehicle. He will also have to adjust to his new home.

Kuzma joined the Lakers in 2017. Fans really liked him. He was a fan favorite and NBA experts appreciated his skill set on the offensive end of the ball.

Things got a little nasty as Kuzma struggled with inconsistencies. His inconsistent shooting made people angry. His performance declines. Maybe Kuzma deserves a fresh start.

Of course, Kuzma will get a chance to spread his wings and play his best basketball in Washington. Will he stay in Washington? Some say he will join the Brooklyn Nets through a sign-and-trade for guard Spencer Dinwiddie. Well, he got his ring with the Lakers and it’s time to try his chances somewhere else.
