2 Insane Trades The Lakers Need to Make to Reach the NBA Finals

The Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated in the first round of the NBA Finals. They didn’t get the best of the regular season as both LeBron James and Anthony Davis missed significant time due to injuries. The team fell to the No.7 seed in the West and ended up playing against the Golden State Warriors in the play-in tournament. Rob Pelinka was motivated to rebuild the roster and he signed a lot of veterans in the offseason. According to experts, two insane trades may give the Lakers even more strength.

Christian Wood and Buddy Hield seem like a good option for the Lakers at the moment.

Both insane trades could help the Lakers win a title

Christian Wood

The Lakers have formed the Big 3 with the addition or Russell Westbrook. He will be the third player behind LBJ and Davis. Wood is probably the only player to help the Lakers build the Big 4. Impressive, right?

Wood is 25 and he has a lot to offer. He would be of great help for the team in the upcoming season. The Lakers will need all the help they can get to make the NBA Finals in the 2021-22 NBA season.

Pelinka should make a move for the young player and Wood is pretty affordable at the moment. He will earn $13.7 million in the upcoming season.

Wood averaged 21.0 points and 9.6 rebounds per game with his team. He shot 51.4 from the field and 37.4 percent from three.

Head coach Frank Vogel can use a versatile player in the regular season.

Buddy Hields

The Lakers will try to address the issues they have with the 2-guard spot. Hields is the perfect player to fit in this position. The front office will use him to space the floor for their superstars.  Westbrook will make things easier for the Lakers and Hields will take a minor role. He will definitely work really well with LeBron and Wetsbrook.

NBA analysts would agree that Hields is an exceptional player and Vogel may soon get one of the best catch-and-shoot snipers in the league.
