Bill Belichick Leaked Another NFL Team’s Secret

Head coach Bill Belichick is a man of a few words, but this time he spilled the Miami Dolphins’ secret. We bet it was unintentionally.

The New England Patriots will meet the Dolphins in Week 1 of the regular season. They will enter the 2021 season with a tough game. But, Belichick doesn’t mind meeting his rivals. He also doesn’t mind spilling their secrets.

In Wednesday’s press conference, the Patriots head coach said that George Godsey will call plays for the Dolphins on Sunday. Miami didn’t make an official statement regarding its coaches. Yes, coach B really spilled their secret.

Bill Belichick doesn’t even think of the “secret”

Starting the season with a home game on kickoff weekend is definitely great. The Patriots will do this for the fifth consecutive season. This will be the 10th time New England opens the season against the Dolphins.

Here’s a fun fact. The Patriots will open and close their season with games against the Dolphins. They are opening and closing the season against the same team for the sixth time in team history (2003 and 2013 against the Buffalo Bills, 1974 and 1987 against Miami, and 1981 against the Baltimore Colts).

The Patriots and Dolphins will meet for the first of two scheduled games and on opening day for the 10th time in their history. They will meet again in the regular season finale in Miami on Jan. 9, 2022.

Belichick and his team have had better game at home against the Dolphins with a 36-18 record in regular season games. This also includes a 16-2 record at Gillette Stadium. However, they are 17-39 all-time in Miami.

The Dolphins defeated the Patriots at Gillette Stadium for the very first time in the last game of the 2005 NFL season.

The two have met thrice in the postseason, and the Patriots have a 2-1 advantage.

Belichick and his team are getting ready for the season. His roster looks really good at the moment and the team plans to beat each and every opponent on their schedule.
