ESPN Makes Bold Prediction For Patriots’ Week 3 Game Against Saints

ESPN has made a bold prediction for the New England Patriots Week 3 game against the New Orleans Saints. The Patriots are coming off a big win against a not very good Jets team. The defense was able to hold the Jets offense to only 6 points. And they looked pretty impressive doing it. They picked off the rookie QB 4 times total in their win. The offense under Manc Jones was decent but they still have some things they need to figure out.

Head coach Bill Belichick was overall pleased with the win.

“Proud of our football team today. I thought these guys came back and really worked hard all week. I thought we made some improvement from what we did last week. Still, obviously, have a way to go, a lot of things we can do better,” Belichick said following the 25-6 win. “But I thought we did a lot of things better than we did last week. We just gotta keep grinding, keep working, keep stringing these days and weeks together and keep improving our football team. Had a lot of guys step up. Got some turnover opportunities, took advantage of those.”

“Wilson made some pretty impressive throws — that kid’s gonna be a good player — he is a good player. Had a couple big plays offensively. Damien’s run was obviously a big one. Was good to get the ball in the end zone there. … Overall, probably just gotta do a little better job taking care of our scoring opportunities. Nick (Folk) did a good job. (Wind) was kinda swirling out there. Not the easiest day kick. He banged through a lot of big kicks there.”

Now, ESPN has made a bold prediction for the Patriots this week. They think that they will have the same success against the Saints.

They even went on to say that they think they will hold Winston to under 230 yards once again. This would be impressive for the Patriots defense. The Patriots defense is currently ranked as the 5th in the NFL after 2 weeks. It will be very interesting to see what they can do against the Saints.
