Julian Edelman Reveals His First Impression Of QB Mac Jones

The New England Patriots changed their approach in the offseason. They put a rookie and a veteran on the field this summer. Mac Jones did a decent job in training camp and the team won all three games. Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels is really impressed with Jones and he even said that the coaching staff trusts the rookie. Former Patriots wideout Julian Edelman has been following Mac Jones from the very first moment he joined the Patriots.

The Patriots finished the first two games of the regular season. They lost the season opener but won the second game against the New York Jets. It was a big win for Belichick’s team and fans are ready for the next one.

Can we really say that Jones lived up to the expectations? Of course.

Julian Edelman knows Mac Jones is a winner

Jones has thrown 467 yards but the Patriots know that the best has yet to come. He will have to get ready for the upcoming game against the New Orleans Saints. This is a big game but Jones has an even bigger challenge on the schedule. Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming to New England in Week 4.

Edelman wasn’t really surprised to see Jones at center. He knows that Belichick has his ways of doing things. According to the former wideout, Jones “came out and did well.” He has this sparkle and we have a few good reasons to say that Jones will be the franchise quarterback.

Jones has so much to learn but he is on a good way to make the top. Just like TB12. Yes, some say that he really looks like the former Patriots quarterback. Jones is a hard-working player and he is a good fit for Belichick’s system.
