Kyle Van Noy Drops Truth Bomb on Patriots QB Mac Jones’ Potential

Kyle Van Noy has dropped a truth bomb on the New England Patriots rookie QB Mac Jones’ potential. The Patriots got off to a slow start against the Miami Dolphins in week 1 of the NFL season. But they are looking to bounce back against the Jets this week. Some fans are wondering about their teams’ new QB pick-up, Mac Jones. Though he is only starting his second game, what could be his potential in the NFL?

Well, Kyle Van Noy has some things to say about that.

“I think Mac is going to be great,” Van Noy said. “ Therefore, ur team is going to get there one step at a time. We’ve just got to focus on the Jets this week.

“I was like, ‘C’mon, Mac. You can be a little excited.’ But I respect it and I respect what he said,” Van Noy said. “I respect that he’s like, it’s the first one but there’s a lot of work to be done. I feel him in that regard. He’s trying to be a really good football player and he’s a leader on our team.”

Given that, Jones has shown himself to be a good leader and it looks like that will only continue to strengthen as his career moves forward. The Patriots struggled to get anything going on offense last year under the leadership of Cam Newton. Bill Belichick thinks that will change.

“First of all, he’s had a high level of production. As a result, I feel like he’s been able to show an ability to do things the way we want them done at a productive level,” Belichick said of Jones. “So he’s young, I’m sure he’ll continue to learn and grow. We’ll see where that goes. That’s why we drafted him. I think he’s come in and performed at a level that supports that.”
