LeBron James Brings Jake Paul Nearly to Tears

LeBron James watched Jake Paul fight against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley. His support was probably the biggest motivation for Paul. Let’s not forget that these two are Cleveland natives.

The four-time NBA champion took to Twitter to deliver his support for Paul. The latter got the word and it was brilliant. Paul’s reaction was really great.

“Man, that’s crazy,” Paul said. “I’m getting teary-eyed, that’s sick. Like I said, I was in those stands 12 years ago screaming, ‘LeBron! LeBron!’ trying to get him to notice me.

“So for him to tweet about this, that’s crazy. I’m being really hard on myself, but man, I’ve accomplished so much in the last four fights. No one is doing this. I’m trying not to cry, but for him to even tweet that is crazy.”

Paul tried to attract LeBron’s attention before the big fight. He even said that he would love to see LeBron in the front row. Paul also mentioned all the great athletes who did wonders in the Olympics. He wanted them to fly to Cleveland and watch him beat his opponent.

The social media star sure knows how to attract the attention of the media. His fight with Woodley made great headlines and yes, he will also make loads of money.

The Ohio State Athletic Commission has the official fight purses. Woodley and Paul will earn $2 million for this fight. Keep in mind that Paul voted it via split decision.

So, Paul has a career record of 4-0 and Woodley has just made his professional debut. Paul enjoys a big increase. He has earned $690,000 for the third bout with Ben Askren.

Paul is tough and he is not someone who would quit. Tyron wasn’t really active and this wasn’t a bad fight either. We saw a lot of bright moments, and Paul was exhausted at the end. But hey, this is a fight. That’s how things roll with fights. It’s all about winning and making a spectacle.
