LeBron James COVID-19 Vaccine Mystery Solved

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers COVID-19 vaccine mystery has been officially solved. Rob Pelinka has been making the rounds in the media before the start of the Lakers season. It is apparent that he is wanting to clear the air on some of the things surrounding his team.

One of those things was what happened with fan favorite Alex Caruso. He went into detail on what happened.

“We made an aggressive attempt to re-sign Alex Caruso and we made an aggressive attempt to keep Talen [Horton-Tucker], and that’s the thing with unrestricted free agents,” Pelinka said. “You can be in the mix, but players control the ultimate choice and Alex was tremendous here as a championship player and we’ll be forever grateful for his contributions and his growth. Seeing him go from a G League two-way to an elite player was something we’ll always be proud of, but he had choices and he chose another team.”

“But we pursued him and wanted to keep him. Same with Talen. Obviously, came to a deal with Talen and Alex moved on, but we had a plan to take some of the skill set that Alex brought to the table and find that in other free agents that were available and I think if you look at how we ended up filling out the roster, it was important for us to be strong in all the different basketball categories and we felt we dimensionalized that with some of the other guys we signed.”

Now, he has come out with the facts when it comes to the vaccine.

“On opening night, all of the players that are currently signed on our roster will be deemed fully vaccinated,” Pelinka explained. “We’re grateful for that.”

LeBron was also asked about his feelings on the matter.

“Anything I do off the floor is predicated to my family for the majority or 99.9% of that,” James said.

“It’s about the health and safety of my family,” he added. “That’s what it came down to. Being available to my teammates on the floor is about taking care of my body and me doing everything I can to make sure I’m available both mentally, physically and spiritually as well.”

“But, anything of that nature is all family talk.”
