Patriots Receive Good News On Starting Right Tackle

NFL fans shouldn’t be too worried about Trent Brown. The Patriots starting right tackle left Sunday’s game a little too early after suffering a bad injury. He was examined by the medical team and had to stay on the sidelines for the rest of the game. The New England Patriots lost the game to the Miami Dolphins. Will Brown miss a lot of time?

Head coach Bill Belichick didn’t reveal much about Brown’s injury in the postgame press conference. He didn’t provide an update right after the game.

Adam Schefter from ESPN was among the first to give us an update. According to him, the Patriots will follow Brown’s condition and make a decision right before the next game.

The Patriots may have their right tackle back in Week 2

Brown played just seven snaps before sustaining his injury. The Patriots throw Justin Herron on the field after Brown’s departure. However, Herron struggled and the team used Yasir Durant as a replacement.

Patriots fans were a bit concerned about Brown’s injury. He is an excellent player and he is too valuable for the team. Let’s not forget that Brown missed some time in 2020 due to a calf injury. The Las Vegas Raiders didn’t have much luck without him.

The Patriots will probably provide another update these days. They will have the first Week 2 injury report on Wednesday. We will know more about Brown’s injury in Friday as the Patriots will release their final injury report before the road game against the New York Jets.

Brown is an important player and Bill Belichick found great purpose for him in his equation. The talented player had a big role in the 2018 Super Bowl. Belichick has high expectations from him but Brown has to stay healthy to accomplish a lot of great things in the regular season.

The new-look Patriots lost the first game of the regular season. Mac Jones was leading the team but it wasn’t enough. It’s not his fault though. Each and every member of the Patriots roster has to try harder to win the next few games.
