Patriots Vet Shares Telling Admission On QB QB Mac Jones Confidence

The New England Patriots ditched a former MVP to put their rookie at center. Head coach Bill Belichick and the rest of the members of his coaching staff really liked Mac Jones’ performance in training camp. It was a tough quarterback battle and Jones won it. Of course, some would say there was no quarterback battle in New England. We do know that pretty much every NFL analysts followed the situation in training camp. Newton had to go, and Jones is here to teach everyone a lesson with his confidence.

“Mac’s confidence is on 10. He’s a different dude. Seeing that from a rookie is cool,” Patriots veteran safety Adrian Phillips said.

Mac Jones to win games with his confidence

Head coach Belichick used the 15th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft to get Jones. I guess he found his quarterback of the future. Jones has everything he needs to be the franchise quarterback. Belichick likes this idea and so does offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.

Jones didn’t lead his team to a win in the season opener against the Miami Dolphins. He was impressive in both games and the Patriots won their Week 2 contest. Jones beat Zach Wilson and the New York Jets. The Jets rookie had four interceptions in the game, and Kyle Van Noy thought he was seeing “ghosts.” It was a joke, of course.

Patriots players really like the signal caller and he has an excellent bond with each and every player on the roster. Jones is making an impact and the Patriots will need him to elevate his game and use every bit of his confidence in the rest of the season.

McDaniels trusts Jones and this says pretty much everything you should know about the Patriots offense.

What’s next on the list for Jones? He is all-in when it comes to winning games with the Patriots. He would love to fit in the system without any obstacles. The Patriots have a really strong offense and teams can’t really copy Belichick’s rulebook. Well, the man has a few tricks up his sleeve.
