Report: LeBron James Made Notable Change Before This Season

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James adjusts himself to the game and he makes a change pretty often. The four-time NBA champion has been part of the NBA for almost two decades. Many would agree that he is the most dominant player in the NBA. We do know that LeBron is the best basketball player of all time. He joined the Lakers for a reason and this has helped him win a ring. The fourth ring in his resume. Now he is on his way to grab that fifth title.

Things got a different turn this offseason and LeBron made a tiny change. He took different approach and lost some of that muscle. Most athletes bulk up in their free time, but LeBron did the opposite. Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka confirmed that his superstar cut his weight. Wonder why? This weight loss is supposed to add to his explosiveness. According to Pelinka, LeBron feels much better now.

“Rob Pelinka says that LeBron James has ‘slimmed up’ coming into this season,” McMenamin reported. “He says being leaner should translate to more explosiveness for James, who is starting season No. 19 of his career and will turn 37 in December.”

LeBron James made a change for a reason

LeBron spends $1 million each season to keep his body in an excellent shape. Trainers, treatments, nutritionists… Pretty much everything you need to play at elite level. LeBron is the GOAT and he spends a lot of money to get that GOAT body going.

King James lost weight but his teammate, Anthony Davis, gained a lot of muscle this summer. How will this change affect his game?

The Lakers added a lot of veterans to their roster and making changes is a must at the moment. LeBron is losing weight just because it will make him feel better on the floor. His teammates will probably make similar “sacrifices.”

NBA players have to adjust their bodies and styles to make things work on the floor. It works for LeBron, and it will work for anyone else. This change makes us think that LeBron will change his approach to the game.
