Report: Tom Brady Decided To Leave Patriots For These Reasons

Tom Brady decided to leave the New England Patriots after two decades. He had several reasons to make this move. Joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was a good move and Brady ended up winning his seventh Super Bowl. He didn’t come to New England in 2020, but he will definitely come this season. Brady’s return to Foxboro is the hottest topic these days. Seth Wickersham’s new book titled, “It’s Better To Be Feared” added even more fuel to the fire.

Tom Brady had to leave the Patriots

Wickersham added some details about Tom Brady’s role in the Patriots dynasty. Well, some of the details he mentioned got people angry.

“Wickersham writes that Brady ultimately left New England not only because both (Bill) Belichick and (Robert) Kraft refused to commit to him until his stated goal of playing until age 45 — it was believed that Belichick thought Brady was close to the end — but because he wanted to be at an organization that welcomed his input rather than ignored it, something he ultimately found in Tampa Bay,” ESPN wrote.

“Tom Brady had been curious if there was another way of winning, and while nobody was arguing that Bruce Arians was a better coach than Bill Belichick, or even close, the seamlessness of Brady’s proficiency and performance was making his former coach’s methodologies look antiquated, even silly. It was better to be feared — but was it necessary?”

It was a big move and Brady got the best of it. He got to play with a completely different team. The squad was so good that even Rob Gronkowski came out of his retirement. Antonio Brown joined the Buccaneers, too.

The upcoming game will be the most anticipated game of the 2021 NFL season. It will be an awkward game for both Brady and his former head coach. One thing stands for sure. Belichick respects Brady and everything he accomplished in his career. He praised the GOAT and his incredible career. The same goes for Brady. He and Belichick had great success in his career with the Patriots.
