Tom Brady Reacts To Bill Belichick’s Comments About Him

Tom Brady has given his reaction to Bill Belichick’s comments about him. Bill Belichick and his Patriot’s team got back on track on Sunday after beating a bad Jets team in a convincing fashion. The rookie QB Mac Jones was very impressive leading the offense. But it was the defense that stole the show. They held the Jets to only 6 points and picked off their rookie QB 4 times total.

However, Belichick was not asked only about the game after the win. He was also asked about Tom Brady and if he thought he could play until he was 50.

Here is his response:

“I’m sure Tom would know better than anybody, so if anybody can do it it’s him,” Belichick said this week.

Tom Brady Reacts To Bill Belichick’s Comments About Him

“Can Tom Brady play until he’s 50 years old?” Rob Gronkowski questioned.

“Wow, that seems to be the really hot question lately. I mean, I don’t find it so difficult. Plus, Florida is kind of a retiree state, so feel like I can play and then just glide into retirement. I think I can. I think it’s a ‘yes,’” Brady said.

Now, coach Belichick’s comments have gotten back to Brady.

“I’ve always appreciated the encouraging words of Coach Belichick, and it’s served me pretty well,” Brady responded.

Belichick was pretty happy after the win. He gave some good quotes to reporters.

“Proud of our football team today. I thought these guys came back and really worked hard all week. I thought we made some improvement from what we did last week. Still, obviously, have a way to go, a lot of things we can do better,” Belichick said following the 25-6 win. “But I thought we did a lot of things better than we did last week. We just gotta keep grinding, keep working, keep stringing these days and weeks together and keep improving our football team. Had a lot of guys step up. Got some turnover opportunities, took advantage of those.”

“Wilson made some pretty impressive throws — that kid’s gonna be a good player — he is a good player. Had a couple big plays offensively. Damien’s run was obviously a big one. Was good to get the ball in the end zone there. … Overall, probably just gotta do a little better job taking care of our scoring opportunities. Nick (Folk) did a good job. (Wind) was kinda swirling out there. Not the easiest day kick. He banged through a lot of big kicks there.”
