Watch: Damien Harris Makes One Of Best TD Runs In Recent Patriots History

Running back Damien Harris made a big mistake in the season opener against the Miami Dolphins and he fixed it with one of the best touchdown runs in team history. The New England Patriots went all the way to New York to meet the Jets and they came out as winners. It was a beautiful game and Harris enjoyed his redemption.

The running back surprised everyone with one of the best plays of the road game. He did a 26-yard touchdown rumble and took four Jets defenders to the red zone. Veteran center David Andrews and rookie quarterback Mac Jones helped Harris on the play.

Harris made a mistake and repaired it with a nice run. This run gave the Patriots a nice advantage in the game and they stood at 19-3 at that point of the night. It happened after Zach Wilson’s fourth interception and Harris made him learn his lesson.

Harris is the star running back on Bill Belichick’s team. Rookie running back Rhamondre Stevenson fumbled in the season opener against Miami.

People got a bit worried when Harris fumbled, and Patriots running backs coach Ivan Fears discussed it. According to him, there’s no excuse for such mistakes. Harris shouldn’t have made this mistake at this point. He is coming off of an excellent season with the Patriots and experts made a few great predictions for his new season. I guess they did a good job this time.

Harris didn’t let this fumble affect his game. He wanted to move forward and that’s exactly what he did in the game against New York.

It’s a long season and this is the beginning of another incredible year for the running back.
