The Los Angeles Lakers brought Dwight Howard back for a reason – they really need his shots. The veteran spent a season with another team and he was more than happy to re-sign with his former team. Howard had a key role with the Lakers inside the NBA bubble. The team finished the season in Orlando and made the NBA Finals. Howard got his ring but he didn’t get a parade. This was one of the reasons he had to join the Lakers again. He really wants that parade.

Dwight Howard fires shots for the win

The Lakers veteran hits his shots for the win. The team will need his skills and talent in the upcoming season. Howard is joining the oldest roster in the NBA.

Our veteran is happy to be “home,” and fans are happy to see him back too.

Howard is on his third stint with the Lakers. In his first stint with the team (2012-13), Howard had a decent performance, averaging 17.1 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game. However, things didn’t go well and Howard had issues with his teammates.

The San Antonio Spurs eliminated the Lakers in the first round of the 2013 NBA Playoffs.

The veteran returned to LA again in 2019. His stats were great and he got his first ring. The Lakers won the championship in Orlando and came home as champions.

Howard is past his prime, but the Lakers can really use his rebounding and defense. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel will try to get the best of him.

Big Howard is looking forward to getting his second ring. The three-time NBA Defensive Player of the year came for that parade, and he will get it one way or another.
