Watch: Video Emerges Showing How Hard Mac Jones Took Patriots’ Loss to Saints

The New England Patriots entered the new season with a loss. They couldn’t win the season opener against the Miami Dolphins. Well, there was a ray of hope as the team won Week 2. Here comes the big surprise… It was an unpleasant surprise though. The Patriots lost the game to the New Orleans Saints. Players on both teams struggled and head coach Bill Belichick’s crew came out with a loss. Rookie quarterback Mac Jones felt really bad following the loss to the Saints.

Mac Jones was frustrated following the loss to the Saints

New Orleans had a strong defense and players did their best to shut down Josh McDaniels’ offense. They picked Jones three times during the game. New England hit the first touchdown thanks to Jones’ 22-yarder to Kendrick Bourne in the fourth quarter of the game. What happened next? The Saints responded with a 4-yard touchdown run from Taysom Hill. Shocking, right? This dive took 13 plays and went 75 yards. New Orleans players really tried to win this one. They needed this game.

Jones had his third interception after a pass to Nelson Agholot in the fourth quarter with his team down.

Running back Alvin Kamara had just 30 yards from scrimmage on 14 touches in Week 3. He was the star of the show yesterday. The Saints Alvin Kamara was the real star of the show as he offered 89 yards rushing and 29 yards receiving with a TD catch.

Jameis Winston did his job and completed 13-of-21 for 128 yards with a couple of TDs.

Belichick’s team struggled on the field and we can definitely feel Jones’ frustration.

The Patriots will have the most difficult game this week. They are playing against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Winning the game against the Saints would have given them enough motivation to try and win Week 4. Well, winning against TB12 won’t be that easy. Jones is a rookie, but he has all the talent in this world to win games. Belichick trusted him and that adds even more pressure to the game. Patriots tight ends and the offense will have to try harder to make things easy for the rookie signal-caller.
