Anthony Davis Gives Concerning Update on Injury

Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis sustained an injury in the win against the San Antonio Spurs. Lakers fans are a big scared, but I guess there’s no room for despair.

LeBron James is out due to ankle soreness and the Lakers really need AD on the floor.

At one point of the game, AD fell to the floor and grabbed his knee. He got up and finished his game with 35 points, 17 rebounds, and 4 blocks in 43 minutes on the floor. If you ask the big man, he will say his knee is sore, and add that he will wait to see what happens in the morning. That’s what AD said after the game.

“He was doing his job flying in, and I was still kind of planted on the ground,” the big man told the media. “He ran into my knee. Like a little stinger, a little stinger. And then started moving, it just kind of went away. I kept playing. Still felt it a little bit, but finished the game. And we’ll see how it is when I wake up tomorrow.”

The Lakers star will get his rest and see what happens inside his body. He helped the team win and adrenaline did quite a nice job.

“I mean, you’re still going off of adrenaline and stuff right now,” Davis added. “So you rest, then wake up, and all the adrenaline and stuff is gone, and your body starts reacting to the pain.”

Anthony Davis avoided major injury

Prior to the regular season, LeBron said health was the biggest factor for a win or a loss. Players have to stay healthy and avoid major injuries. Los Angeles has a lot of veterans on the roster and a couple of injuries could change the gameplan completely. Frank Vogel is already without a few players. He can’t lose his superstars at this point.

Davis was able to avoid major injuries thanks to his activity in the weight room over the summer.

“I took a conscious effort in the weight room this summer,” he said on the podium. “The injury could have been a lot worse if I didn’t.”

LA won two games so far and players are ready to win even more nights in the regular season.
