Anthony Davis Reveals What Triggered Him to Blow Up At Dwight Howard

The Los Angeles Lakers lost the game to the Phoenix Suns, and this was the second regular season loss for the franchise. Players are well aware of the fact that they need to work more and take their game to a different level. They need to get that energy going. This means NO FIGHTS! Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard got into a thing at one point of the game and had to be separated by their teammates. LeBron James and Rajon Rondo had to intervene.

What happened last night? AD talked about this during his postgame media session. According to him, everything is fine. The big man even said that they are really competitive.

“Two guys, we’re very competitive. We just want to win games,” Davis told the media.

Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard are fine

AD didn’t say much, but Howard sure provided a longer answer. He said that both he and AD were upset about a play, adding that they had a disagreement. Of course, they are “grown men” and they are “trying to figure things out.”

Howard went on saying that they have no issues with each other and asked the media to stop trying to make it an issue between him and his teammate. As you can see, there’s no problem in the Lakers locker room.

We can definitely understand this.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel revealed that his players “talked it out.” This is good news and we shouldn’t be too worried at this point.

Howard didn’t play in the second half of the game because Vogel wanted to experiment with a small-ball lineup. The Lakers ended up losing the game.

Lakers players allowed 52 points in the paint and had 16 turnovers. Their shooting percentage was pretty low (39.5%) and it’s more than obvious that they have some struggles.

LeBron is healthy and the team should take advantage of this. Davis is healthy too. Russell Westbrook had a better performance last night but he needs to improve his shooting. He finished the night with 15 points and nine assists. Everyone needs to do better next time.
