Julian Edelman Salutes Chris Hogan On Instagram After Retirement News

Chris Hogan confirmed his retirement right after joining the New Orleans Saints. The former New England Patriots wideout called it career and this is the end to his NFL career. He was part of the league for a decade. Former Patriots wideout Julian Edelman took to Instagram to deliver his reaction and congratulate his former teammate on the great career. Let’s not forget that Edelman is no longer playing either.

“See ya on the golf course bubs. Congrats on the career @chrishogan_15,” Edelman wrote.

The Saints placed Hogan on their retirement list Saturday and we believe that he won’t change his mind. Of course, Hogan didn’t say a thing about his decision, but this didn’t stop Edelman from sending his great thoughts.

The Saints signed Hogan to add depth to their receiving unit. He started just one game for the team and appeared as reserve while delivering four catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in the Week 1 win over the Green Bay Packers. Hogan signed a one-year deal with the team in July after his brief stint in the Premier Lacrosse League. Many would agree that this was an expected move for the talented wide receiver. He battled injuries and maybe now is the right time to go.

Chris Hogan confirms retirement after great spectacle in the AFC East

NFL fans will remember Hogan for his great performance in the AFC East. In 2011 and 2012, Hogan made a few stops in the NFL and spent time with the 49ers, Giants, and Dolphins. He joined the Bills and 2014 was his breakout season. The wide receiver had 41 catches and four touchdowns. He didn’t stop here and signed a three-year deal with the Patriots.

Joining the Patriots was a really good move. Hogan became one of Tom Brady’s best targets. In 2016, Hogan had career-high 680 yards in 14 starts with the team. New England ended up winning the Super Bowl that year. He helped the team win another championship in 2018. T

The Carolina Panthers got him in 2019 and he played in just five games before undergoing a surgery to fix his knee. Hogan was part of the Jets last season but caw action in just five games due to an ankle injury.
