Kyle Kuzma Shades Lakers After Winless Start in Now-Deleted Post

The Los Angeles Lakers lost the opening game of the 2021-22 NBA season. Stephen Curry and the Golden State warriors did a good job against the Lakers and beat them at Staples Center. This loss was a big blow for the purple and gold, and Lakers can definitely do better than 121-114. Well, one former Laker had an unexpected comment following the loss. Kyle Kuzma shades the Lakers and fans are shocked… Of course, the Instagram story is deleted now.

The former Laker shared a screenshot saying the team went 0-7 without him. Wow… Did you see this coming?

Kyle Kuzma shades Lakers, regrets it instantly

This came like a huge surprise mostly because Kuzma is still friends with players on the current Lakers roster. I guess he wasn’t too happy about the trade. The front office traded Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Montrezl Harrell to get Russell Westbrook. It was a bold move and adding Broddie seemed like a reasonable move.

Well, Westbrook’s debut with the Lakers didn’t go well. NBA analysts had high expectation from the veteran, but he went 4-for-13 and had four turnovers.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis did their best to lead the team, but it wasn’t enough. The four-time NBA champion isn’t worried though. He knows that players need more time to adjust their game to the new system. Westbrook came to LA to win and he will sure win later in the season. Many would say that he is extremely competitive and that would be of great help for the team.

“I just don’t want him to be so hard on himself,” LeBron said after the loss. “That was the one thing that I hoped to get through to him, don’t be so hard on himself. Go home and you’re going to see three babies that he has that might be asleep, but they’ll put a smile on his face. He has a beautiful wife and family. So at the end of the day, you go home and you’re really like, ‘OK, that was not that bad. It’s really not that bad.’”
