This joke was related to the absence of offensive lineman Michael Onwenu and Isaiah Thomas. Belichick couldn’t provide an update on these two. As usual, reporters asked a lot of questions. Belichick didn’t ignore this one. He just didn’t have the answer to their questions.
“There’s obviously some questions there; I don’t even know the answer myself,” Belichick said. “I’m not trying to be evasive here – not that you would ever think that, [me] trying to be evasive.”

Fully vaccinated asymptomatic players can return to the field with two consecutive negative tests. Unvaccinated players who get COVID have to isolate for at least 10 days before having two consecutive negative tests.
Wynn played all 265 offensive snaps in the first four games of the regular season. Onwenu played 239.
Justin Herron, Yasir Durant, Yodny Cajuste, and Ted Karras stend on the active roster behind David Andrews, Shaq Mason, and Trent Brown.
The Patriots have Drake Jackson, Alex Redmond, James Ferentz, and Will Sherman on the practice unit.
