LeBron James Shatters His Own Earnings Record for NBA Player

Four-time NBA champion LeBron James has been making a lot of headlines with his accomplishment on and off the court, and his earnings have hit he skyline again. King James can do whatever he wants and his net worth keeps growing. Guess what… He has just broken his own record.

LeBron got $111.2 million in the past calendar year which is more than his previous record of $96.5 million. There’s more. The four-time NBA champion made the top of Forbes list of the NBA’s highest-paid players. Eight times.

“He continued his march toward billionaire status this week when his media and entertainment business, the SpringHill Company, announced the sale of a minority stake at a valuation of about $725 million. The Los Angeles-based company does everything from producing movies and documentaries … to doing marketing work for the likes of J.P. Morgan. LeBron James is not expected to pocket much cash from the deal, instead reinvesting the bulk of the proceeds into the business … James and his business partner Maverick Carter will retain a controlling interest in the company, which has a TV deal with ABC Studios and a first-look film agreement with Universal Pictures.”

LeBron James to add even more to his earnings

LeBron has earned a lot of money in his basketball career. He also has a lifelong deal with Nike, and other endorsement deals with State Farm, Dunkin Donuts, Upper Deck, Baskin Robbins, Verizon, Intel, Audemars Piguet, and many more.

“Combined, the NBA’s ten top-earning players are set to make $714 million, up 28% from 2020-21 and 19% from the previous high of $600 million from 2019-20. It also represents a staggering 132% increase from a decade ago.”

King James is on the top and fellow NBA stars are right behind him. Of course, they will have to work really hard to break LeBron’s record.

LeBron won’t stop here and he will continue building that net worth. That’s not all. He will keep contributing to the community. He opened a school in his hometown to help the less fortunate. Yes, he also uses his platform to discuss issues and fight for our rights.
