Mac Jones Had The Most Insane Quote About Taking Big Hits

The New England Patriots lost four games so far in the regular season. Head coach Bill Belichick is confident about his team. NFL analysts have great expectations for the team, and yes, we have at least one good reason to believe that the Patriots will make the playoffs this season. Rookie quarterback Mac Jones took the lead, but he is taking too many hits on the field. What does that mean?

Belichick’s first-rounder is not really bothered with this one. He believes that quarterbacks are built to take hits. There’s nothing wrong with this one. Football players are not soft.

Mac Jones got used to taking many hits

Jones faced the biggest challenge in Week 4. He played against former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. The Patriots lost the game, but Jones did a good job. The rookie is getting used to getting this many hits, and the biggest one came last Sunday. How will Jones describe this experience?

“I think getting hit is always fun because it makes it more fun,” Jones told WEEI on Monday. “That’s part of the game. The best part is getting back up and knowing that you’re fine and you can just go out there and keep playing. Sometimes you don’t get hit all the time in practice, obviously. So, it’s OK to get hit a little bit and pop back up and it just adds a little bit of competitive juices to the whole situation. At the end of the day, it’s part of the game. The best quarterbacks in the world, they all pop up quick and play the next play.”

This is both hilarious and awkward. Jones being fine with getting this many hits is pretty strange. But he is a tough guy and his teammates like this. He is full of confidence, too. Patriots center David Andrews really likes Jones and everything he does on the field. The same goes to other players on the roster. New England has great players, and they are working really hard to get to the top.
