Mac Jones Throws Fireball to Hunter Henry For TD Pass, Gives Patriots Lead Over Bucs

Mac Jones is doing it and this time he got some help from Hunter Henry. The New England Patriots play against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and things got super hot on the field in Foxboro. The weather is not that hot, but it will get messy later in the game. Buccaneers players came to win this one, but the Patriots rookie won’t give up without a good fight.

The Buccaneers entered the game with a lead but Jones’ touchdown pass cut down their hopes. I guess head coach Bill Belichick trusted him for a reason.

Mac Jones builds great connection with Hunter Henry

Tonight’s game is one of the most important game of the regular season. A lot of fans made predictions for the battle between Brady and his former head coach. Enter Mac Jones and you get a real explosion.

In the second quarter of the game, the first rounder fired a 11-yarder in Henry’s direction. The Patriots gained a 6-3 lead over the Buccaneers and Nick Folk added fuel to the fire while converting the extra point.

Adding Henry was a big move for Belichick and he brought two top tight ends. Rob Gronkowski retired a couple of seasons ago, leaving a huge gap on the roster. Replacing him wasn’t that easy, but Belichick found a solution to the problem. He spent a lot of money to get Jonnu Smith and Henry on the team. The latter had his first touchdown reception as a Patriots player and fans are already celebrating.

Jones has a chance to do something special early in his career. The Patriots needed a replacement for Brady, and they struggled to win with Cam Newton. Jones is a rookie but he has a huge potential to be the franchise quarterback. These passes give us a few good reason to say this again. Patriots tight ends failed Jones in Week 3, but this connection is out of this world. Things are taking the right direction for Jones and his teammates. Who is winning this game?
