Of course, players had some struggles early in the game. They were trailing the Texans throughout the entire game. That’s when Coach B stepped in and taught everyone a lesson. We have this mic’d-up video from head coach Bill Belichick and the speech he delivered during the first half. Patriots players needed to hear this and elevate their game. Patriots players did their best to cut Houston’s lead and ended up winning the game. It was an exhausting 25-22 win but it felt really good. This is the second game New England won this season. They need to win more in order to make the playoffs.

Coach Belichick did his best to motivate the defense and we can definitely agree that the offense did an incredible job. Patriots center David Andrews praised offensive players and delivered great message for the rookie quarterback. Jones did a good job in the game and helped his team overcome a huge deficit. The first-rounder made some mistakes but he was amazing and the Patriots benefited from his game. Coach Belichick liked it, too. Jones worked really hard to get this spot on Belichick’s roster and he gave the team a few good reasons to keep him around in the upcoming season.

The Patriots head coach delivered another motivational speech in the locker room. He praised the offense saying they “needed 60 good minutes of football, and got 30.” Belichick liked the blocked punt and the way his team shut down the Texans in the third quarter.

Patriots special teams captain Matthew Slater had great words for Jones and veteran kicker Nick Folk. The latter delivered a 21-yard game-winner in the final minute of the game.
