Patriots Release Update on Isaiah Wynn Status For Game vs Cowboys

Things have started to look a little better for the New England Patriots. Isaiah Wynn is off the COVID-19 list and he has a chance to join the Patriots in the upcoming game against the Dallas Cowboys. The left tackle was activated Saturday and this made us believe that he will suit up for the game. That’s good news, right?

Wynn didn’t play last Sunday, but the team was able to beat the Houston Texans. He missed the last two weeks of practice after being added to the COVID-19 list. That’s too much time in the regular season and head coach Bill Belichick may use Justin Herron at left tackle. Here’s the catch. The Patriots listed Herron as questionable for the game and he is dealing with an abdomen injury.

Patriots may use Isaiah Wynn to beat the Cowboys

Having Wynn back is definitely great. He may need some time to adjust his pace, but we do know that he is adding nice depth along the offensive line. Wynn and Mike Onwenu landed on the COVID-19 list last week. Onwenu has already hit the practice field.

Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels is working with an excellent offense, but he had a few holes to fill up. Injuries and COVID-19 cases can change the course of the regular season. The Patriots players without some of their top players. They may lose the right side of the offense due to injuries. Well, there’s no room for panic right now.

The team elevated offensive lineman James Ferentz from the practice unit on Saturday. They used him last Sunday as a replacement for Onwenu.

Shaq Mason won’t play this Sunday. The Patriots have already listed him out for the game. Mason is dealing with an abdomen injury and he may miss some time.

The Patriots can win a lot of games with their offense. The defense is great but the offense did an incredible job last week. Rookie quarterback Mac Jones and his teammates overcame a huge deficit last week to beat the Texans. Let’s see what happens tomorrow. The Patriots have two wins so far.
