Watch: LeBron James Surprises Little Fan With a Simple Wink

LeBron James has surprises one kid that is a huge fan with a very simple wink. The Los Angeles Lakers have not looked very impressive so far this preseason. They failed to win a single game and the roster just seemed a bit lost as a whole. Now, with that being said, it is only the preseason and it is most likely going to change in a big way when they hit the regular season. But it was still very surprising to see them struggle the way they did. Russell Westbrook was not very impressive so far.

LeBron James is not worried about it, though. In fact, he is only looking forward to the regular season. He is busy interacting with some of his smallest fans on the sideline. LeBron has always been a fan favorite, especially with the kids that look up to him so much. In fact, he is probably the biggest fan favorite of all time. Watch him as a simple wink from him makes this kid’s day.

He rarely ignores fans and when he does, he almost always has a good reason for it. But even with the struggles, he is still in fan mode.

But will the Lakers be able to turn it around? Well, a lot of that will ride on Westbrook’s play. He did not have a good preseason. Still though, he is very happy to be in a Laker’s jersey.

“Being from LA, you always wish that you could play for your home team,” Westbrook said. “That’s definitely something that always circled around in my mind. Maybe one day? But I always would come back and be like, ‘Ah, that probably won’t happen.’ I just had to wait and see. But now that we’re here, I’m going to take full advantage of it.”

“LeBron is one of the best players to play this game, and his ability to do everything on the floor allows me to just figure it out,” Westbrook said. “I’m coming to a championship-caliber team, and my job is to make his game easy for him, and I’ll find ways to do that. As it pertains to ball-handling, it really doesn’t matter. There’s many different ways you can impact the game without having the ball in your hands. I’ve been able to do that for a number of years, and we’ll figure it out.”
