Watch: Russell Westbrook Has NSFW Confrontation With Fan Sitting Courtside

Russell Westbrook had a bit of an NSFW confrontation with a few fan that were sitting courtside for their last game. The Los Angeles Lakers did not have a very good preseason this year. They were 0-6 but were expected to perform quite well. Now, obviously, with the regular season starting in only 4 days, there are more important things to work on than the preseason record. And the Laker players themselves have come out and said they are not worried in the slightest.

One fan interaction with Russell Westbrook has cause some eyes, though. Westbrook is not exactly clear on his record when it comes to dealing with fans. He has continually had issues in his past getting into arguments with those sitting courtside. But this is the first time that it has happened since he signed with the Lakers.

Westbrook is excited to be in LA though.

“Some of these dreams don’t come true for people like myself,” Westbrook said.

“Being from LA, you always wish that you could play for your home team,” Westbrook said. “That’s definitely something that always circled around in my mind. Maybe one day? But I always would come back and be like, ‘Ah, that probably won’t happen.’ I just had to wait and see. But now that we’re here, I’m going to take full advantage of it.”

“LeBron is one of the best players to play this game, and his ability to do everything on the floor allows me to just figure it out,” Westbrook said. “I’m coming to a championship-caliber team, and my job is to make his game easy for him, and I’ll find ways to do that. As it pertains to ball-handling, it really doesn’t matter. There’s many different ways you can impact the game without having the ball in your hands. I’ve been able to do that for a number of years, and we’ll figure it out.”

It sounds like he is excited to see what this season will bring. Hopefully many wins and a title after a disappointing year last season.
