Anthony Davis Hilariously Stops Russell Westbrook From Birthday COVID Violation

Russell Westbrook turns 33 today and Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis was really eyeing that birthday cake. He paid really great attention and even stopped his teammate from violating COVID-19 guidelines.

Broddie showed up at practice and there was a really delicious cake waiting for him. The Lakers veteran wanted to blow out the candles as he usually does, but AD stepped in and stopped Westbrook from spraying the cake with… COVID-19.

Anthony Davis was right about the birthday cake

We can definitely understand this. We are still in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and Davis just wanted everyone to follow the rules. He was joking, of course, but he didn’t want the team to get into trouble or something. Players have taken their COVID-19 jab, remember? Well, this doesn’t mean they should do whatever they want. They can still get COVID.

When it comes to vaccination, NBA icon Kareem Abdul-Jabbar really supports the whole idea. He can’t understand that some players refuse to take the jab. He even insists that everyone receivers the vaccine in order to protect themselves and those around them. Some people criticized Abdul-Jabbar over the pro-vaccination situation, but the NBA icon didn’t change his mind.

NBA players and coaches have been advised to get the booster shot. We are facing another big wave of COVID-19 cases and the situation can escalate overnight.

The Lakers don’t have new cases at the moment so they are safe from trouble at the moment. Let’s hope that players will follow the rules and avoid ending up on the COVID list. The team played the latest game without half of the roster meaning they can’t lose more players at this point. Losing AD or Westbrook would be a real nightmare for the team. They try really hard to stay afloat in LeBron James’ absence. Imagine LA without AD on the floor… That would be terrible!

LA takes things seriously and everyone is trying really hard to bring the team to the playoffs this season. Broddie and his teammates have a winning streak at the moment. Will this change?
