Coach Bill Belichick Shares Positive Trent Brown Update Ahead Of Patriots-Browns

Coach Bill Belichick has given a very positive Trent Brown update ahead of the Patriots game against the Cleveland Browns. The Patriots are currently on a bit of a streak going into week 10 of the NFL season. Mac Jones and the offense are finally looking like they have some wheels underneath them and it is a big confidence boost. There are still a few questions going into the rest of the season. It will be interesting to see how they decide to take on the trade deadline and if they will be able to pick up anyone.

Injuries have been a bit of an issue for the Patriots but it sounds like there might be some good news from coach Belichick.

Trent Brown has missed some games due to an injury. By the sounds of it, he might be getting back into the swing of things.

“Trent’s all in every day,” Belichick said. “Does what we ask him to do. He’s been a little bit limited at times, but he’s tried not to let that affect what he can do, and he continues to work on things that he can do. Sometimes it’s limited, but he’s made good progress. We’ll just take it day by day here, but we’ll see where we are today and then evaluate his week and go from there.”

Brown injured his calf in week 1 of the season and has not played since.

“He’s working his butt off,” offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo said before Brown’s return to practice. “Every time I see him around in the halls, he’s got a towel around his neck and sweating, so he must be doing something.”

The Browns have a good pass rush defense but they also have some injuries up front. Not only that, but they are also dealing with the Odell Beckham Jr. fiasco. The Browns are coming off of a big win against their in state rival Bengals. The Patriots will definitely need to play a full game if they want to continue their winning streak.
