ESPN Gives Bold Prediction For Second Half Of Patriots’ Season

ESPN has given a bold prediction on the second half of the Patriots’ season. The Patriots are looking much better going into week 10 of the season compared to how they started. Mac Jones and the offense definitely started the season off very slow. But they have bounced back and now Mac Jones seems to have found his footing a little bit in the NFL. It is always hard to play as a starter and a rookie in the NFL. It is such a different game than playing in college. But Jones has progressed nicely.

Now, he is picking up some steam. ESPN has some interesting predictions for him and the Patriots for the rest of the NFL season. Mike Reiss of ESPN thinks that Mac Jones can get to 25 TDs before the end of this season. He did mention that this means he needs to average 2 per game for the rest of the season. But with the way he is playing right now, that is definitely possible. And if the Patriots can get a play maker, it would be even easier for the rookie QB.

But it definitely is not set in stone. Mac Jones is a rookie and growing pains happen from time to time. He will need to be on the top of his game should he want to get this.

Mac Jones is his own toughest critic, though. He strives to be the best player he can be and proves it on the field.

“There is just reoccurring themes in terms of communication and I can do a better job with that. Part of it is just the inexperience, but there is no excuse for that,” he said. “I have been here for quite a while now and I can figure out the looks that I am not used to seeing, and just go from there. But we have made progress every game I feel like.”

We think he can do it for sure. But it will take quite a bit of focus from him and the whole team. Hopefully, we can see it happen as that will certainly mean good things for the team.
