‘Good News’ Emerge For Patriots Potentially Landing Odell Beckham Jr.

There is some good news coming out surrounding the chance that the Patriots have on potentially landing Odell Beckham Jr. The Patriots are looking pretty good going into their next game. They have won two games in a row against the Jets and Chargers. The game last week proved that they are able to beat decent teams and could be good for their confidence going forward.

But the Patriots are still missing a play maker for rookie QB Mac Jones to pass the ball to. It is clear that they don’t have any weapons for down the field and that is where the Patriots are looking to land someone. Well, someone just became a free agent recently and many think that Odell Beckham Jr could be a good fit.

Now, some good news has come out for the Patriots potentially landing him.

This is definitely good news for the Patriots but it still doesn’t mean that he will land there. According to some odds, the Patriots still are not the leaders to pick him up.

This comes after a report that they might be eyeing DeShaun Jackson.

Michael Hurley talked about the chances.

“The available player is DeSean Jackson, the veteran burner who asked the Rams to release him after he’d taken less than 20 percent of the team’s offensive snaps through eight games.” Jackson’s speed was once a game-breaker for defenses, but it appears the Rams questioned if he still has that impact on the field. Hurley addressed that concept as well.

“He said: ‘It’s fair to wonder whether Jackson can be an impact player. He’s 34 (he’ll turn 35 on Dec. 1), and he played in just 18 games in the previous three seasons. He does have a 75-yard catch this year, and he had an 81-yard reception last year, proving he’s still got the jets that made him a three-time Pro Bowler. But he’s also caught just 31 passes (for 616 yards and four touchdowns) since 2019, evidence that he’s not a consistent performer at this stage of his career. That being said, might the deep threat of Jackson open up some plays for the Patriots’ offense a few times a game?”
