Jakobi Meyers Gives Honest Take On Patriots Teammate N’Keal Harry

Jakobi Meyers and N’Keal Harry helped the team beat the Los Angeles Chargers. They were also helpful when the Patriots beat the New York Jets. There’s one major difference between these two. Meyers is having great performance with the team while Harry requested a trade. Of course, the former first-round pick didn’t leave the Patriots and he is still playing with the Patriots.

Many analysts thought Harry would leave the Patriots in the offseason. He didn’t and he is happy with his current role. Meyers had something to say about Harry’s struggles and his way of doing things.

“N’Keal’s got a way of just rolling with the punches,” Meyers said. “He came in here with high expectations. A lot of people would say that he probably didn’t live up to them, but he’s still coming to work every day. He works to be the best man that he can be. To go hard. He works hard in practice. I’m going to always be proud of N’Keal. The fact that he’s going out there and making plays now, it’s just happy to see. Especially since we came in (to the league) together.”

Jakobi Meyers and N’Keal Harry to win games together

Patriots needed someone to replace wide receiver Julian Edelman after he announced his retirement. Of course, Harry will have to try harder to make a huge impact. He struggles with injuries. That’s another problem. Harry will have to stay healthy to keep his team on the winning track. He entered the regular season on injured reserve. The wideout is playing with the Patriots now and that’s the only thing that matters right now.

“I’m a Patriot,” Harry said Wednesday morning. “? I want to do anything I can to help this team win. That’s my focus.”

Patriots coaches should find a way to get the best of Harry’s skillset. He was great in training camp and his performance in the last two games will help him finish the season with great success. The Patriots didn’t do anything ahead of the trade deadline which means Harry’s position is safe for now.
