Lakers Fans Call For Team To Fire Frank Vogel After Loss To Knicks

The Los Angeles Lakers lost the game to the New York Knicks and this loss triggered an avalanche on reactions on social media. The team was without LeBron James and this may not be the only problem LA has right now. If you ask some fans, they will say the Lakers should fire head coach Frank Vogel.

This came like a shock because Vogel got his new deal this past offseason. The Lakers entered the 2021-22 NBA season as favorites to make the playoffs. However, newcomers had a hard time fitting in and injuries forced key players out of the floor. The team keeps adding losses to the column. Lakers fans are a bit frustrated. Their team is losing games and the situation doesn’t look good at all. Fans are now asking the front office to get rid of Vogel.

Lakers front office may not fire Frank Vogel

Is Vogel really responsible for this mess? Coaches get most of the heat after each loss. That’s exactly what happened this time.

Celtics legend Paul Pierce believes “the makeup of the roster” is the real problem in LA.

“They look bad right now. I don’t know if they can stay healthy… I don’t think they have a chance. The way they playing without LeBron at his age. LeBron can’t play 40 minutes like he can and get them through the regular season.
