LeBron James Asked If He’s Spoken With Isaiah Stewart After Altercation

LeBron James was recently asked if he had spoken with Isaiah Stewart after the two had a near fight in the Lakers and Pistons matchup. The Los Angeles Lakers have been terrible so far this season. Now, there is more than just bad play on the field. It seems like the Lakers thought that they would come out in the regular season and just dominate all of the teams in front of them. But they are clearly not good enough to get that done and it is showing in the record department.

There was a lot of talk about the altercation that LeBron James had with Isaiah Stewart during the Patriots win over the Pistons. He was recently asked about what happened and if he had had the opportunity to talk to Stewart since the fight. Apparently, the two have not yet had the chance to make up as James has not talked to Stewart since it happened.

James’s teammate Anthony Davis stood up for the superstar after the game.

“Everyone in the league knows LeBron’s not a dirty guy,” Lakers big man Anthony Davis said. “In fact, when he knew he hit him, as soon as he did it, he looked back at him like, ‘Oh, my bad. I didn’t try to do it.'”

“I don’t know what he was trying to do,” Davis said. “But I know nobody on our team, 1 through 15, was having it. We’re going to protect our brother. I’ve never, in 10 years, seen a player try to do that as long as I’ve been playing. … It’s uncalled for. You got a cut above your eye, accidental-like, it wasn’t on purpose. And we weren’t going to allow him to keep charging our brother like that. I don’t know what he was trying to do, but we wasn’t going to allow that.”

Vogel also talked about the play.

“[James] had an elbow [from Stewart] to the rib cage, which was a foul and he was trying to shed the contact,” Vogel said. “And had incidental contact that was obviously enough for a flagrant 2.”
