Belichick and his team have found a way to beat Sam Darnold. Patriots’ defense intercepted Darnold on three straight possessions in the second half of the game. This includes the one J.C. Jackson returned for a touchdown. The Patriots beat the Panthers with a 24-6 dominance for the fourth win in the past five games.

Belichick and the Patriots are 4-0 against Darnold. The quarterback has thrown nine interceptions and one TD pass in these outings.

Jackson said the Patriots defense disguised really well. They try really hard to give Darnond a hard time. Jackson intercepted Darnold in the end zone to prevent a TD.

The Patriots head coach liked the fact that his team was able to create pressure and praised the defense.

When it comes to Jones, he was able to overcome two early turnovers and threw for 139 yards and a touchdown. Rookie running back Rhamondre Stevenson did 106 yards from scrimmage but left the game due to a head injury. Damien Harris and Hunter Henry provided their touchdowns and the Patriots are now 4-0 on the road.

In his postgame press conference, Jones said getting a win on the road was really hard. He acknowledged that the Patriots did a good job and said the “defense was lights-out.”

Fans were a bit worried as the Panthers got Christian McCaffrey back in the fold. He had just 14 carries for 52 yards and was able to catch four passes for 54 yards.

Patriots players had a really good game and Jones will try to do the same in the game against the next opponent.
