Patriots Go Crazy After Jakobi Meyers Finally Catches First NFL TD

The New England Patriots blasted the Cleveland Browns and this was an expected win for Bill Belichick and his team. This game was special for so many reasons. One of them was Jakobi Meyers and his very first TD. It was time to put an end to his touchdown-less career. The 2019 undrafted free agent was able to do something great on the field and Patriots players benefited from his skills.

Sunday was a big day for the Patriots wide receiver. Meyers was finally able to get his first touchdown. It happened in the fourth quarter. The Patriots were already having a dominant game. Everyone got a piece of the cake, including Meyers. This was definitely worth the wait.

Jakobi Meyers got his first TD for the win

Meyers made the end zone in great fashion. He had four receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown. He was averaging 12.2 yards per reception and this 26-yarder was the longest in the game. This was his highest receiving output since the game against the Houston Texans.

Patriots players were really happy for their teammate, and they knew how to celebrate the big catch.

Mac Jones was a successful in the game. He was able to connect with his teammates. The rookie quarterback has a good connection with tight end Hunter Henry. His connection with Kendrick Bourne was impressive, too. Bourne made a really good catch and fans will talk about it for a really long time.

The Patriots added another win in their chart and we have a few good reasons to believe they will make the playoffs at the end of the season. Belichick and his assistants are doing a really good job on the sideline. Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels played smart with his offense. The Patriots offense was dominant in the win over Cleveland. They should play at the same pace and beat their next opponents.

Belichick must be proud of his players. They have had a few impressive wins so far in the regular season. It was a challenging season for the team but they are playing really well.
