Patriots Made Decision on N’Keal Harry’s Status For Matchup Against Panthers

The Patriots have made a decision on N’Keal Harry’s status for the Patriots matchup with the Panthers. The Patriots are going into week 9 of the NFL season with a two game win streak. It would be great to see them pull out a third in a row and would be a huge confidence builder for the team. But there are some questions going into the game on who will be playing and N’Keal Harry is on that list.

The New England Patriots will not have N’Keal Harry when they play the Panthers here in a few minutes. He is inactive due to a knee injury.

The 23-year-old receiver started the season on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. He started bouncing back in previous weeks, though, and would have been a huge advantage this week. He had several highlight catches in the Patriots last two wins and is definitely needed this week.

Bill Belichick talked about Harry previously.

“I think N’Keal had a good (training) camp,” Belichick told reporters in a press conference before the season. “Glad we have him. Think he’ll make a big contribution to our team.

“We’ll see how it all goes from a time standpoint of when he’ll be able to get back on the field, but I know he’s working hard and making progress with his rehab. So, we’ll keep monitoring that and see how it goes.”

“I never talked to his agent, all right?” Belichick said. “So, you’d have to talk to his agent; whatever he did or didn’t say, I don’t even know.

“I’m a coach, N’Keal’s a player. I think we have a good player-coach relationship. We’ve talked. So, whatever somebody else said or did, you should talk to them about that.”

It would have been great to have Harry this week against the Panthers. But the injury bug has hit them in previous weeks as well. Hopefully he can come off of this knee injury stronger than ever.

Do you think the Patriots will be okay without Harry today?
