Report: Legendary Gambler To Earn Massive Payout If Patriots Win Super Bowl

Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale may have lost out on a $35.6 million payout, but he is ready to win some serious money. The popular gambler really hopes that the New England Patriots will win the Super Bowl this year. The Astros lost the World Series, but this loss didn’t stop McIngvale.

McIngvale bet $2 million on Bill Belichick’s team to bring the Lombardi Trophy home. He placed the wagers at Barstool and The Score on Friday. The gambler got 23-to-1 odds on New England. He may have made a really good move as the Patriots have a 7-4 record at this point of the regular season. They have a really good chance to become champions this year. Belichick’s guys are dominant in their division.

The gambler talked to Todd Dewey from LVRJ to explain his bets. Oh, he is definitely someone who loves a good adventure.

“I thought, to use a horse racing term, that it was an overlay,” Mac told Dewey. “Twenty-three to one is way high, based upon their history and the whole organization up there, especially the head coach. I took a gamble at that and so far it’s looking pretty good.”

McIngvale was pretty convinced that the Astros would win, just because they made three trips to the World Series in five seasons. He feels the same way about the Patriots.

In his interview with The Action Network, McIngvale said he “thought it was a value price,” adding that the Patriots are like the Astros for him just because they “have been there before.”

Belichick and his team had an incredible win last week. They earned words of praise from many analysts, including some of the doubters who questioned their potential. It was a really great win for the Patriots and they will try to win the next few games as well.

Pretty much every Patriots player on the roster tried their best to win games. Things got really hot in Foxboro despite the freezing temperatures. Mac Jones is a star despite the fact that he is just a rookie.
