Running Back Visits New England For Workout Ahead Of Bills Game

A running back has visited New England for a workout before the Patriot’s matchup with the Buffalo Bills. The PAtriots are currently looking like a real contender in the NFL right now. They are easily the hottest team in the NFL behind great QB play from rookie Mac Jones. The season started out with what looked like another poor team. But they quickly turned things around, winning 6 games straight against some pretty tough competition.

Now, the Patriots are looking to add some talent to their practice squad. They recently hosted free agent Devine Ozigbo for a workout and it sounds like it went well. He is definitely ready for the opportunity it sounds like. It would be a great challenge for him and a good addition to the practice squad for the Patriots.

“If all goes well,” Reiss wrote on Twitter, “look for him to be added to the practice squad.”

Ozigbo was born in Bostonand lived in Texas. He went to the NFL as an undrafted rookie from Nebraska in 2019. From then, he has spent time with the New Orleans Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars. He had11 carries for 25 yards and catching 13 passes for 72 yards over 20 total games.

For what it is worth, Bill Belichick is very happy with his team’s performance so far. He talked about this during his Monday press conference.

“I think each game has got its own kind of dynamics. I’d say it always starts with if we don’t turn the ball over and we can take the ball away from our opponents, that’s always a good thing. Field position in the kicking game, that’s always a good thing too. Each game is a little bit different. I don’t know. There are things we need to do better from yesterday, and we did some good things.”

“I think that’s true of the other games all year honestly. Some of the outcomes are what they are. We’ll try to focus on correcting things we need to correct and doing them better, coaching them better, reinforce some things that we did well, and try to continue to do those.”
