Russell Westbrook Has Blunt Response To Reporter’s Question

Russell Westbrook has a blunt response to the question that he was asked recently. Many people are wondering if the Russell Westbrook experiment is really working. Granted, we are only few weeks into the NBA season so a lot can still happen. But it is clear that the Lakers are struggling to win games. They are especially bad on the defensive side of the ball and it is interesting to see.

This has led to many questions revolving around Westbrook and his play on the court. He was asked one recently after the loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. This was the Lakers second loss to them in less than two weeks. This is not a great showing for a team that is projected by many to make the NBA Finals.

Westbrook was asked about the finishing sequence of the game in which he had a turnover and a missed three.

Russell Westbrook Has Blunt Response To Reporter’s Question

“You saw it,” Westbrook said. “Don’t ask me the questions you know the answers to. You seen it. Naw. Naw. Just watch the game. You see what happened. I lost the ball. I missed a three. Nothing to it. Appreciate y’all.”

Despite his poor play, it still sounds optimistic for the future of the Lakers.

“It’s interesting, but I’m a person that you just play the cards you’re dealt,” Westbrook said, according to ESPN. “Whoever is available, you have to make it work. We haven’t had our full team one time, not close. We just have to make the best of it and compete to the best of our ability.”

Anthony Davis also talked after the loss.

“We shouldn’t have lost this one,” Anthony said. “It didn’t come down to LeBron not being here. … We’re OK, but it hurts to lose to the same team twice within a week in the same way, the same fashion. That’s something we’ve got to take upon ourselves and hold ourselves accountable.”
