Sources Close to LeBron James Reveal Likelihood of Him Playing in Lakers Game vs. Celtics

The Los Angeles Lakers lost too many players to injuries. General manager Rob Pelinka packed the roster with talent but he couldn’t predict the number of injuries players sustained early in the season. LA has an 8-8 record at this point of the regular season. LeBron James is still out of the game, but sources reveal that he may join his Lakers teammates in the game against the Boston Celtics.

“While Lakers coach Frank Vogel said James is ‘day to day,’ sources close to James told ESPN that there is a ’50-50′ chance he will be back in the lineup at the TD Garden,” wrote Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said LeBron was day-to-day and didn’t provide much information about his health condition. The four-time NBA champion was expected to stay on the sideline for a couple of months. Well, he may be back sooner than expected.

The Lakers missed too many games and these losses probably motivated him to speed up his recovery. LeBron is taking a really good care of his body and he spends one million to keep it performing at a high level. He has tried pretty much every treatment and yes, they all worked like crazy.

Lakers fans are a bit worried right now. LeBron missed a big chunk of the previous season. He also missed a lot of time in his debut with the Lakers. Will he miss a lot of games this time as well?

The king of basketball has great stats for the season. When healthy, LeBron was averaging 24.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game on 46.7 percent shooting from the field and 34.7 percent shooting from deep.

LA has a tough schedule and things weren’t that easy for them. But, the king may return really soon. His return will make ease the tension on the basketball court. Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook could really use some help. They are doing a decent job and other players contribute to the game, too. Will LeBron join his team in the upcoming game?
