Anthony Davis’ Potential Return Date From Knee Injury, Revealed

Anthony Davis didn’t join his teammates for the game against the Orlando Magic, and the team seems to have more info on his return date. AD has missed the second straight game for the Los Angeles Lakers. His knee soreness was a bit too much for the big man and he is taking his time to rest and recover.

We have some good news!

Imaging has shown that there’s “no structural damage” in Davis’ sore knee.

Harrison Faigan of SB Nation was among the first to report that Davis was questionable for the game against Orlando. Prior to the game, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said his big man will “miss a second game in a row with knee soreness.”

According to Vogel, the absence is precautionary with the Lakers having two games off before the upcoming game. This means that Davis is day-to-day moving forward. He had an ultrasound and his knee looks good at the moment.

“We did an ultrasound on it,” Vogel said of Davis’. “Everything is structurally intact. Just taking another day, with the two days off before the next game, and hopefully we’ll put this behind us.”

Fans predict Anthony Davis return date

It was a new injury and Vogel said that the star player “had just woken up with it.” Davis didn’t even know when it happened.

AD is averaging 24.0 points and 10.2 rebounds per game with the team. He suited up for almost every game in the regular season. This pretty much goes against every comment about Davis being prone to injuries.

Davis’ performance was great throughout the entire season. Of course, he had games where some say he was too passive.

Having AD back in the fold will be of great help for the Lakers. The team won two straight games with LeBron James leading the charge.

The Lakers have a 15-13 record at this point of the regular season. Players will face a tough schedule in the next couple of months. They are playing against the Chicago Bulls and Phoenix Suns next Sunday. Kevin Durant, James Harden, and the rest of the Brooklyn Nets players will confront the Lakers on Christmas Day.
