Bill Belichick Names His Pick For NFL Coach Of The Year

It’s time to make a pick for the NFL head coach of the year. New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick made a pick regarding the best coach in the league.

If you ask Bill Belichick, Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury should take the award. If you ask Kingsbury, Belichick should take the award. Nice situation, huh?

Belichick is the best coach in league history. He made his pick on Monday morning, but this doesn’t change the fact that he can coach pretty much every coach out there. The New England Patriots head coach has been around for a while and he has done a lot of great work. Belichick can definitely recognize his successor. He sits on the throne and he can determine the second-best coach in the league. Kingsbury deserves the award. Simple as that.

Belichick praised the Arizona Cardinals head coach and it wasn’t a bad move. Kingsbury did a really good job with his current team. Coach B recognized his potential and picking him was actually the best compliment.

“That’s very nice of Kliff to toss that bouquet. I’ll toss it right back. Kliff has done a great job and should be the Coach of the Year,” Belichick said Monday morning.

Kingsbury even suggested they should name the award “Bill Belichick” just because he has been the ultimate coaching figure in the NFL.

“I mean, they should just name the award ‘Bill Belichick,’” Kingsbury joked. “Until he retires, I don’t think anybody else should get that award, honestly. He should be that any single year that he’s coaching.”

Belichick has won the award on three occasions: 2003, 2007, and 2010. The Patriots drafted Kingsbury in 2003 but he didn’t see action with the team that season. Kingsbury ended up on injured reserve.

Belichick and his Patriots players have a chance to make the playoff this season. Mac Jones helped the team win nine games so far. They are now getting ready for the Indianapolis Colts. We will have more info in the next few weeks.
