Bill Belichick Sounded Especially Ticked Off After Patriots Lost To Colts

Head coach Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots weren’t really happy following the loss to the Indianapolis Colts. His team finished the game with a 27-17 loss and it was really ugly. The Patriots head coach is a man of a few words and he didn’t feel like talking during the press conference. Reporters had so many questions about the factors that led to this loss.

“Obviously, we didn’t do anything well enough to win,” Belichick said. “Didn’t play well, didn’t coach well. Too many penalties. Fumbles. Interceptions. (Allowed) over 200 yards rushing. Played from behind the whole game. … Disappointing, but we’ll move on.”

Bill Belichick wants Patriots to move on following the loss to Colts

Rookie Mac Jones agrees on this one. He said it all starts with him. Belichick’s first-rounder said he didn’t practice enough this week. The Patriots had a bye week but they didn’t get the best of their free time. That’s pretty much everything Jones said in the press conference. Coaches and players should have tried harder last night. Colts players were too confident about this game and things worked in their favor. The Patriots rookie quarterback struggled to make an impact in the first half of the game and had two interceptions. The first half of the game was awful and the team didn’t score at all. It was a messy situation. Who will learn the lesson this time?

It was an unexpected loss for the Patriots mostly because the Colts were without their star center. Belichick got a well-timed break but his team didn’t use the opportunity to win. The Patriots were without Damien Harris and rookie Rhamondre Stevenson stepped in as a replacement for the veteran.

Everyone will agree that the Patriots “didn’t play well.” Jones, Belichick, veterans… May this win be a motivation for the team. The Patriots took the throne in the division but now they rank third in the AFC. The Buffalo Bills are next on the list. New England beat them a couple of weeks ago. It won’t be hard for them to do that again.
