Lakers Get Timeline for LeBron James Return

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James won’t play with the team in the next few games, and experts have already predicted the timetable for his return. The four-time NBA champion entered the league’s health and safety protocols on Tuesday. This is not an ideal scenario for the Lakers as they have played without their leading star for a big chunk of the regular season.

Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN reported that LeBron will miss a few games. He can return to the floor after 10 days and two negative tests.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel didn’t provide much info but he sure knows that his team will have to undergo some changes.

“Obviously it’s a huge loss. It’s disappointing,” Vogel said. “We just want the best for him right now. That’s where our thoughts are, and we have a next-man-up mindset.”

LeBron James will return within a couple of weeks

King James has received the COVID-19 jab, but he didn’t really use his platform to encourage people to get the vaccine.

“I know that I was very skeptical about it all,” LeBron said. “But after doing my research and things of that nature, I felt like it was best suited, not only for me but for my family and my friends. And that’s why I decided to do it.”

LeBron is getting some extra time to recover. Anthony Davis talked to him and revealed that LeBron hasn’t developed any symptoms. This is good news and fans are optimists about the return.

“It took a while,” LeBron said in October. “I didn’t do much basketball stuff for probably the first two months of the summer, which is very rare for me, because my ankle wasn’t responding how I would like it to respond.

“And the best thing about the summertime was I had time. I had time to just really get ready when my ankle was ready to go. I was always training, just wasn’t on the basketball court much. Always doing other stuff, training, pushing, seeing if I could do other stuff with my ankle, and until I got to a point where I didn’t feel any sharp pains anymore, and my flexibility was back to where it was before. That’s when I knew I could get back on the floor.”
