LeBron James Details Why He’s Been Struggling With His Shot

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has been around for two decades, but people like Skip Bayless still criticize his shot. The Lakers entered the regular season as favorites to win the championship. Things didn’t go as planned and the team has lost too many battles, including the one against their city rivals. In the game against the Clippers, LeBron went 9-23 from the field. In his interview with Yahoo! Sports, LeBron talked about his struggles and all the time he has missed in the regular season.

“I feel like, obviously, before going to Sacramento I was getting into a really, really good rhythm,” LeBron said. “Offensively, defensively, as a team, we were playing well. Those guys did a h-ll of a job winning that game. But for me, it’s been very frustrating, either dealing with the groin or the abdomen and then having to deal with the false positive that knocked me out a game and not being able to keep my rhythm.

“You go four straight days without touching a basketball or being able to get on the floor and then work, and I know how much I put into my craft on a day-to-day basis, I knew I wouldn’t have exactly what I needed for this game. But I was just happy to be out there.”

LeBron James to improve his shot

The Lakers have a 12-12 record at this point of the regular season. They were without LeBron for most of the time. LeBron sustained injuries and also missed one game due to a suspension. As if this wasn’t enough, the four-time NBA champion entered the NBA’s health and safety protocol.

Fans got really frustrated, and so is LeBron. He missed too much time and this has affected his game. Hopefully, things will get better for the team. LeBron admitted that he didn’t give his best. He knows that his team struggles without him.

The Lakers have a chance to do win more games in the upcoming period. They have to stay healthy, otherwise LA will fall in the standings.
