Patriots Reportedly Get Two Players Back For Final Practice Before Colts Game

The New England Patriots will meet the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday. The NFL is dealing with a lot of problems at the moment. There’s a surge in COVID-19 cases. Luckily, the Patriots aren’t really affected. Moreover, the situation looks really well. Two Patriots players have returned to the practice field right before the Colts game.

Linebacker Chase Winovich and offensive lineman Yodny Cajuste joined their teammates on the field. Both players missed Wednesday’s practice due to non-COVID condition as reported by Chris Mason from MassLive.

Having these two back brings great relief for the team. Wino and Cajuste will sure contribute to the game. It’s not a hard game, but they will be of great help for the team.

Running back J.J. Taylor, linebacker Ronnie Perkins, and offensive lineman Yasir Durant missed the practice. They have already missed time on the field.

Perkins is treating his ankle injury. Durant and Taylor were added to the COVID list.

Patriots players are ready for the Colts game

The team released the final injury report heading into the Colts game. Eight practice saw limited action on Wednesday.

There’s more good news. Rookie quarterback was added to the injury report this week due to a thumb injury. However, there’s no reason for concerns now. Jones feels great and there’s nothing wrong with his thumb. Patriots fans are a bit worried about the rookie but his hands are great.

New England is ready for the upcoming game. Colts players are too confident about their skills. They even believe that their coaches will find a solution to the Patriots’ offense. Let’s be honest. Kendrick Bourne was right about it. He didn’t like when Colts players bragged about their dominance.

NFL analysts made great predictions about the Patriots this season. Stephen A. Smith has a good reason to believe that the Patriots will meet the Dallas Cowboys in the Super Bowl. He would love to see head coach Bill Belichick win the game. Maybe the Patriots will get to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That would be the ultimate finale for the season.
