Proposed Trade Has Lakers Sending Pick & DeAndre Jordan for Young Big Man

The Los Angeles Lakers have too many struggles at the moment. Anthony Davis is out and several players entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Yes, some of the guys returned to game action but the situation doesn’t look good at all. The Lakers have lost too many games. Will they change the lineup and add new players? According to latest reports, a trade deal makes perfect sense for the Lakers and revolves around DeAndre Jordan. Will the Lakers get rid of the newly added player?

NFL analysts agree that Jordan is one of the worst players on Frank Vogel’s roster. He saw action in 27 games with 18 starts and records a team-worst -96 plus/minus. Jordan is a good player but he struggles to fit in the new roster. Wonder why?

Probable trade for the Lakers and DeAndre Jordan

Damian Jones may be a better fit for the team. He is 26 and has already been part of the Lakers. Of course, he didn’t stay around for too long and inked a deal with the Sacramento Kings. Lakers coaches could get the best of his youth and athleticism.

Sam Quinn from CBS Sports says the Lakers should give Sacramento a second-rounder.

This deal could be really great for the Kings. They have zero chance to make the playoffs this season. The front office will probably reshape the roster. It’s not like they plan to use Jones on the long term.

Davis is still out and the team really need all the help they can get. They have already brought a few players to make things easier for everyone.

Is Jordan’s time with the Lakers close to an end? He is 33 and he is no longer in his prime. Jones is young and his athleticism should help him land a deal with the Lakers.

Pelinka doesn’t have too many tradable assets on the roster. LeBron and AD won’t go anywhere in the near future. Yes, we know that some people want to see Davis out of the roster. The Lakers gave him a contract extension for a reason.
