Rich Paul Directly Addresses Rumors of LeBron James Potentially Leaving the Lakers

Is LeBron James leaving the Los Angeles Lakers? I don’t think so. A lot of people talk about LeBron’s potential departure. I guess they are motivated by the struggles LA players have in the regular season. There are too many rumors. Can you pick a side?

LeBron’s agent, Rich Paul, heard some of these stories and decided to share his opinion. No, LeBron is not leaving the Lakers. Paul was loud and clear. He talked to Shams Charania from The Athletic and revealed that his client doesn’t consider leaving his team.

“I spoke to LeBron’s agent Rich Paul, and he said that talk in itself is just ridiculous, and it’s totally false,” NBA insider Shams Charania said. “LeBron James isn’t leaving the Lakers. He’s gonna be on the Lakers.”

LeBron James is not leaving the Lakers

Kendrick Perkins took to Twitter to motivate the four-time NBA champion. According to Perkins, LeBron should go back to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wonder why? Perkins like the young core in Cleveland and can already see LeBron join forces with young talents. Oh, this was more than enough to make people talk.

Paul decided to put down the fire.

LeBron may have difficulties with the Lakers, but he won’t go anywhere in the near future. The Lakers have a 16-16 record at this point of the regular season. The team is without Anthony Davis and this makes things even more difficult for everyone. LeBron will have to carry the team on his back. Well, he has already done this before.

The four-time NBA champion was great in the game vs Phoenix Suns. However, the Lakers didn’t win the game. LeBron didn’t get any help from his teammates. His monster game contained the Suns, but it wasn’t enough. LeBron had key role on both offense and defense. Chris Paul and Devin Booker joined forces and beat the Lakers.

The Lakers superstar missed 8+ games due to his injury. He also earned a suspension and missed a game after entering the NBA’s health and safety protocols. What’s next? LA should give him enough help on the floor. That’s all.
